World Whisky Day 2018 Event Highlights

1) Bear ‘Burning” at Lindores Abbey Distillery

A 300-foot bear which is carved out on the hill above the Lindores Abbey Distillery. It is a depiction of the stone statue that was taken from the Abbot’s lodgings at the Abbey at the time of the Reformation. Set aflame, it truly is a sight to behold. In the historical buildings of Fort Kleparz, Whisky Day Cracow returns for the second year running. Sample whisky from around the world at what has become one of Poland’s biggest whisky events. Read more here.

3) Whisky, Films and the Best Doughnuts in Town

Once Upon A Whisky and the citizenM hotel in Glasgow have teamed up for a unique day of whisky fun, pairing whisky-inspired films with fine drams and legendary doughnuts. Read more here.

4)The Lakes Spring Whisky Festival

Join Chief Whiskymaker, Dhavall Gandhi, for a behind-the-scenes whisky masterclass at The Lakes Distillery. During this intimate session you’ll get a first-hand view of what it’s like to do Dhavall’s job. A chance to get ‘hands on’ with your favourite spirit. Read more here.
