Whiskey and coffee experience with Ground Espresso Bars

What to expect

There’s a close connection between whiskey and coffee, and it goes much further than one of the world’s favourite cocktails. Both are rich, complex drinks with colourful histories. Both have huge followings. Both require time, skill and craft to create and serve perfectly. There’s a thirst for knowledge, too. Where is my coffee from? Who roasted it? Steamed milk or foam? Whiskey can be similarly questioned. Where is it from? What types of casks were used in its maturation? How old is it?

Powers will be running a series of educational events throughout May – three in partnership with Ground Espresso Bars to explore the relationship between whiskey and coffee. At them, you’ll sample the entire core range of Powers whiskeys and discover why they’re so perfectly suited to be paired with coffee.
