The list continues to grow of venues, big and small, local and city central, getting involved on Saturday May 17th for World Whisky Day.
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society is just one of those venues – and we’re very excited to have the year round whisky champions up the ante with a signature WWD day and full on foody fandango in Edinburgh.
At their Queen Street venue, the Scottish Malt Whisky Society will be hosting a full afternoon of tastings and food matching and doors are open to non-members!
Scottish produce includes beer from Inveralmond Brewery
The Buffalo Farm in Kircaldy – Scotland’s largest Buffalo Farm.
I J Mellis cheese will be popping in bringing cheeses from their Edinburgh stores ready to try and take on some of the stronger flavours with some local cheese.
Findaly’s haggis from Portobello will be matching some of their award-winning produce with a dram or two… ever tried haggis with a peaty dram? If not…now’s the time!
The foody festival will bring out the best of the amber liquid with the tastiest Scottish quality, and the Whisky Society promise to roll out some of their rarer Society whiskies.
